Community Support

-"The new batting cages at Broadway are going to be game-changing for our community.  This facility will give our baseball and softball programs the opportunity to be competitive with the top programs in the state, in addition to the much needed storage space that'll be provided to programs that utilize Broadway Field. " - Aaron Tanabe, Athletic Director Seaside Highschool

-"This new hitting and multi-use facility will bring many opportunities to Seaside's community and youth. For softball, we will be able to use the space, year-round, to work on hitting, pitching, and other skills. The ability to have a covered space we can practice, especially in inclement weather and with the limited gym space in our community, will be instrumental in growing our skills and competitiveness in softball....For the athletes who want to work on skills during the off season, this space will become a new sanctuary. During our sports season, we will be able to use this space regardless of weather... I look forward to the future for Seaside with the addition of this new space for our youth!" - Jessica Garrigues, Varsity Softball Coach Seaside Highschool
